Limin-33: the most promising fine corn breed in China

    Limin-33 is cultivated with choice German breed as paternal and domestic breed as maternal parent after over ten years of efforts by Sinobioway Seed. The intercross line of the ethnic material has reached 10,000 plants per mu (667 hectares). After ten years of breed selection and breeding, the breed exhibited outstanding adaptability, stability and yielding ability. Having withstood Typhoon Bolaven, it is resistant to armyworms, large and small streak diseases, and is extremely suitable for mechanical production featuring outstanding yield stability.
   It is the only breed in China that has reached the level of contiguous US breeds in terms of density, with the number of plants per mu (0.165 acre) at 5500-6000. The breed saw a standard area yield over one ton per mu for three consecutive years from 2011 to 2013. On October 8th 2014, a yield testing team of experts from the Department of Science, Technology and Education affiliated to Ministry of Agriculture, the Agriculture Committee and Academy of Agricultural Sciences of Jilin Province conducted a second on-site survey of the breed in Lishu County and Yushu City, Jilin Province. The result showed that the yield per mu exceeded one ton (14% of standard water content). In 2014 the planting area of the breed in Jilin province reached over 20 hectares.

High-Efficiency New Drug R&D System (New Drug Expressway)

By taking advantage of the unique strengths of China and Sinobioway Group, the company created a high-efficiency new drug R&D system to industrialize new findings around the world. Meanwhile, it built a new drug expressway by integrating global medical resources so as to tackle health issues faced by humanity. The specific objectives are to build a high-efficiency new drug R&D system by 2025; obtain the approval of about 25 new drugs per annum (equivalent to the total sum of new drugs approved by the FDA in the US annually); reduce the average R&D costs of new drugs to below $30 million (from the current $1.5 billion); and shorten R&D duration to around 8 years (from the current period of 10 – 15 years). The system is marked by three prominent features: rich source of projects, precise selection of projects, complete service system.

The Third Generation Hybrid-breeding Technology

Sinobioway Agriculture has successfully developed the third generation of cross breeding system by taking full advantage of the new technology of hybrid seed production with the infertility gene of crops. It has three major features: 1. It addresses the root of hybrid breeding problems; 2. It has improved the quality of crops; 3. As the hybrid seeds do not contain modified genes, it represents another great leap forward following the three-line and two-line breeding hybrid rice, and will start the third green revolution in the field of plant breeding in China. During decades of development, the company has completed the world’s first rice genome chip, the world’s largest mutant bank of activated rice labels, the world’s largest molecular breeding platform for rice genomes. The platform relates  agronomic traits to chromosome fragments on whole rice genomes based on testing of high-flux molecular markers. It has transformed the experience-based rice breeding practice into precise selection and has obtained over a hundred high-resistance breeds and function genes. Meanwhile, Sinobioway agriculture has also achieved massive advanced technological findings home and abroad, including an accumulated number of 85 proprietary inventions, including 29 authorized and 56 unauthorized patented technologies.
Sinobioway Agriculture serves as the National Engineering Research Center for Crop Molecular Design, National Fine Breed Innovation Center, National Center for Molecular Crop Design and National Plant Gene Research Center (Beijing). Meanwhile, it is also the first lab in China that has received the international ETS accreditation.

Biointelligence Technology:the fifth generation core computer technology

The purpose of the program is to break through the bottlenecks of the current Von Neumann computers to develop the next generation of intelligent machines in simulation of human brains. The key to the development of cognitive computers "should be an integration of philosophical, neuroanatomy, neurophysiology, neurology computing, computer architecture theories." In the human brain, the orbitofrontal cortex and the occipital lobe, the temporal lobe and the parietal lobe are in broad bi-layered formation so that bi-way logic calculations of cognitive behaviors can be carried out between sensation and perception memories. It is by adopting such bi-way nerve structure as models that Sinobioway Group managed to objectively simulate the human brain's cognitive behavior.
In the field of mathematics, Gödel and other mathematicians have proposed the concept of layered collection, but there was no clear physical structure of the layered collection. Sinobioway Group, using the layered collection as a set of mathematical tools, has properly integrated the relationship between sensation and perception, provided a computational model of cognitive behavior, and a complete theory of cognitive logic. The concept that the cognitive behavior of human brains has a natural sequence has provided guidance to the establishment of the cognitive logic – layered collection mathematical model. 
Using the cognitive logic-layered collection algorithm, Sinobioway Group has developed a set of natural language and knowledge processing software, a cognitive logic processing hardware, and 3-SAT problem identification software. All preliminary research drew the same conclusion: the use of Sinobioway cognitive logic can facilitate learning, semantic queries and knowledge reasoning. In other words, Sinobioway cognitive logic method can be used as parallel solutions for the next generation of non-Von Neumann computers.
